Me and my friends used to share that house. As there were green surrounding, different kind of birds can be seen very often(including Sparrows)and Squirrel too. We have faced Gang attacks of Sparrows and Squirrels in our kitchen and balcony. But it was a big fun to watch them. Just love both of them. It is great joy, if you see sparrows bathing and plying with water in group.

I love watching sparrows, eating or cleaning. When i was young i had seen many sparrows near bazaar, eating grains n rice kept outside the shops.... i had played sometimes by waving hands on them... it looks cute...
Only when i read this news article i was able to recap those incidents,n also relate that their count has got reduced day by day...

The time period (1990's) i saw the house sparrows in my school campuses building the nest in the school auditorium, in between the speakers or above the structures of the auditorium, and also in my houses in between the photo frames. Sometimes i will keep some empty boxes with holes where the House sparrows will build the nest and lay eggs. then it will vacate the place and will flew away.

i love sparrows.
in my city they were in a huge quantity 10 years back.
but now no sparrow visible there.
when we ate food in our hall, they come from trees and sat beside us and feeded with us, but these sparrows are invisible, very sad.
