for more than 4 t0 5 years ago there are house sparrows in my village but from last 4 to 5 years i never seen any of one there. i think that is because of radio waves micro waves that release from mobile phone towers.

Hey! Actually I want to share a lovely story about sparrows. In our house there is a big lawn. Everyday morning my father spreads puffed rice on the lawn and many birds including sparrows, Mayna, dove, crow etc. comes to eat that. Whenever I get time I sit by the lawn and see them. but now-a days I am feeling the numbers is somehow has been decreased. If there had been 15 sparrows in a day, now it may be 10. I am grateful to get connected with such a website which is involved to reserve our little chirpy friend.

We always keep some food in the window for the birds , and due to this habit , couple of sparrows started enjoying the food along with few other birds. Since I Live in 6 th floor, it was quiet easy to spot the birds that are sitting on the trees. Still i haven't seen any nest of Sparrow yet.
The reason for the Birds may be the National Park near to the house. Though i had seen the Sparrows , they aren't seemed that healthy (not sure as the one i saw in Nashik are looked more healthier than these fellas). I do take couple of photos .

There are 6-7 false Ashoka trees inside the compound of Sahayog Mandir building. These trees are used as roosting site by the sparrows. They typically crowd the trees during evening hours.
