I getup every day with the voice of sparrows & other birds i my window.
Sparrows are coming in my gallery, Gap between air condition to put eggs. they are making nests regularly. Also MAINA is comes for building nests.
In my area i see kingfisher, parrot, dayal, Bulbul, etc birds regularly.
This area is just out side thane station East. There are lot of trees.

I was excited to learn that Sparrows have built their nest where i live. It reminds me of my childhood days and i used to share this information with my kids who are excited too to hear and see them chirping in the morning and evening.
Any initiave to protect them and preserve their natural habitat shall be a good initiative.

I always loved birds and sparrows were part of my day-today life. But now I found their number decreased a lot(probably in last 10 years).
Even now I do find sparrows coming to my house and my parents encourage them to visit by serving them grains or some broken rice.
I would really appreciate if we can find a way to save these cute birds from extinction.
