I have a house garden and this balcony hosts a bougain villea, and a couple of other flowering trees which flower all through the year. I have about 4-5 sparrows coming in to my balcony every single day (a few times a day) and feeding on the mud and picking up twigs (maybe for nesting) and chirping away.

I still see them every single day and enjoy these little visitors to my house.

I am planning to buy a bird feeder and hopefully have them coming home for years to come.

It is not just story, I am going to reveal the truth why house sparrows have disappeared.

Only one reason why they disappeared is "CEILING FAN". About 60 years back, there never used to be electricity in Indian villages and house sparrows were easily thriving building their nests inside village houses. After villages started getting electricity, each house started having ceiling fan. House sparrows are not able to see the movement of rotating fans and easily get killed. During my childhood, I have personally seen hundreds of
getting killed due to rotating ceiling fans.

One best example how these house sparrows would thrive without ceiling fan condition is Bengaluru Air-port where you will not find a single ceiling fan but will find a dozen or two sparrows freely moving without the fear of human beings around, thriving on the left out eatables lying on the canteen tables.

Find a solution for house sparrows avoiding ceiling fan, I am confident, you will find plenty of house sparrows within 10 years of such plan implementation.
