Now-a-days, following undesirable changes may be danger for some other birds species:
1. Cutting of Fruits tree
2. Preferences given ornamental trees in plantation at IIT Roorkee rather than some tradition trees which attract bird e.g. Peepal, Pakad, Gullar, Mango, Bargad etc.
3. Majority of grassland converted in either parking spaces or concrete cover spaces. This reduces the grass land and opportunities of rain harvesting.

Hi,
I observed that the Sparrows are living upon the Trees nearby my House. Also, there are very few Trees in our locality and suppose that's why the Sparrows are also seen very few. I hardly found the Sparrow Nests nearby my House. Though, it is good to see that 1-2 homes from our locality are doing activities of feeding Birds on daily basis. I also doing this same thing but not very systematically. I normally put a bowl of water outside my home especially in the summer season to get these birds ease.

I also observed that in compare to Dove, the Sparrows are very few in our locality.

I really wish to save our Sparrows, which is the part of our nature.

That's all for the moment, please.

Thank you.
