I observed few sparrows around my house one morning. Then on every morning i climb on the roof of my house and start observing them. I realise, they are less than 5 sparrows in my area which are seen frequenty around. i started searching where they are living but i couldn't. One day i set up 5(five) 'nest box' at my house at several visible places and sprayed some food(broken rice and 'bajra' and placed 3 water pots. very next morning couple sparrow came to eat and drink or shower. They were obserting my 'next box' very interestingly. This observation and inspection contiue for several days. After 2 weeks, i observed that male sparrow started builind nest inside my one of set up box. Now, both of them are living permanently here in my 'Nest box'. I enjoy them seeing everyday. But they are frequently haressed by 'Mainas'. Soon as i heard the fight between mainas and couple sparrow, i rushed to disperse maina from there. I want to invite more sparrow for my other nest box, but as their population are scarce. I am unable to call them on my feed.
