Preferences given ornamental trees in plantation at IIT Roorkee rather than some tradition trees which attract bird e.g. Peepal, Pakad, Gullar, Mango, Bargad etc. 3. Majority of grassland converted in either parking spaces or concrete cover spaces. This reduces the grass land and opportunities of rain harvesting. |
