| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Yeah it is quite shocking that sparrows have disappeared at such a rapid pace over the period of time. I remember spotting hundreds of sparrows in our courtyard when we were children. Only a decade ago, our mothers used to spread wheat grains on a sunny morning, a flock of sparrows would come flying by and start having its fill. It is so strange not to spot the very bird which had become an integral part of my childhood memories? We must do everything in our power to bring the house sparrows back to our houses. |
