| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | I have spent my childhood in Hiran Magri sector 5, Udaipur Rajasthan. During my child hood I used to see a fair number of sparrows in that area. Now I am away from home and living in Pune/Maharashtra for last 11 years almost, but my parents still live there. My father (Dr. B.B Thakore)is an Agriculture scientist and has observed a sudden decline in population of sparrows in that area, to an extent that he hardly sees any sparrow in that area any more.
However where I currently live in Pune (Pimple Saudagar), I do see sparrows regularly on my flat's window which is on 7th Floor.
I am really concerned about population of sparrows and I am open for any kind of help or study required from my side. |
