But for nearly a year now, my father has started keeping water for the stray animals / birds under one tree near our house, which happens to be on roadside near bus-stop. Since then we have often seen sparrows alongwith crows, dogs etc quenching their thirst there. Noticing the sparrows, he has started keeping bajri for them to eat. Over the period of time the number of sparrows has increased remarkably. |
