| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | I grew up with sparrows making their nests in the cupboard which had a few niches in the kitchen. Remember very vividly, taking a nest once to school with a couple of eggs cause the parents just refused to come back.Hopefully the nest should still be in St.Agnes' High School/Convent of Jesus & Mary at Byculla. It was normal to feed them and make friends,,,,those years!, somehow things have changed and for the worse.Been out of Mumbai for the last couple of years and before leaving, tried keeping some boxes out but didn't succeed because of the pigeons.If anyone wants to start a programme in Goa, please count me in, always loved Nature. |
