| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Early in the mornings, I was waken up by the sparrows conversations... It was so pleasant and I loved my space due to that.. My dad, mom , siblings and myself, we used to do exercises and music/instruments practise in the early mornings and I used to observe the sound of these sparrows atleast till it was 7.30am. Its the mainroad on which our house is located. Its a busy road whole day but so silent from the night 11pm till morning 8 am. At 5 am, people start their vegetable business on the market cut road and its a lovely experience to just watch the selling/buying so early in the morning. Then comes the morning walking people where mostly all were very known people who bid a beautiful 'Hi' to my dad daily. Then its our time to start doing our daily routine of exercises and all... I start hearing the chirk of cute tiny sparrows from 6.30 am and they will be roaming happily from one window to other in our house till 7.30 am.. Then by 8 am starts the busy traffic and also our school time getting ready that i haven't noticed sparrows after 8am... Its still fresh in my mind and i miss the sparrows chirk sound a lot... For the past 7-8 years, I didnt find much sparrows around. As you said, only in the recent years the cell phone towers are set in that location. During my school days, there were no cellphones so i guess all the sparrows are disappearing only due to Tower radiations. Please let me know if any way to get back the sparrows living as usual. I am ready to do them. - Anu |
