Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | the house in which i grew up in lucknow is a big old mansion with carvings and elaborate jaali work all around in the house. these places from a long time have nested the sparrows in our house. 10 years back there were a fairly a large number of sparrows that can be seen as the whole locality is a very old area with old fashioned houses, but with passage of time and with the local residents leaving their house the sparrows have also shrinked in numbers because of the loss of habitat. people used to feed these birds (my mother still does) but now this practice is slowly disappearing.
To help protect these birds we should revert back to the practices that our forefathers used to do so that they can be saved before its too late. |
