| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | This is the story of my home town (personal house). I am living here since 2004, and have seen a slight rising population.
I have provided 5-6 nest box/earthen pod for nesting activity of sparrow, water for drinking and grains for feeding. This helps me to keep a good chirpy colony of around 15-20 birds. Good to see that they are breeding round the year (except cold winter months).
The local population of saprrow in the surrounding of my home (2 km periphery) is more then 400-500. |
