Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period?sparrow sightings in my locality has suddenly increased as compared to last year. now i see them daily..and the whole day long can hear their chirpings. early mornings..if my grass is not cut, i can see more than 5-6 of them around. surprisingly they seem thirsty ...they keep coming to drink water from my bird bath and also frolick in the water in another bigger receptacle i keep. they keep chasing out bulbuls from the harsingar tree i have in the garden. their favourite haunt as the sun goes up is the creeper of chameli on my boundary wall. i have house nests for birds hanging from two harsingar trees..but they are always occupied by the squirrels. this year it is a pleasure to see so many of them around..i am taking care to use minimum pesticides in my garden. all sparrow lovers please keep lots of water around..they are really thirsty birds!!!
