Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | When I was young age of about 5-8 years, I would typically capture sparrows using a bamboo basket with a stick and thread to keep it open. Inside this I would put some rice to attract sparrows and pull the thread to trap the sparrow. After this I would put a color tag on the sparrow and let it go. Till the color would last, we would keep track of them as to who came and who did not etc. I did not know that after nearly 40 years I would be developing electronic tracking system for wildlife but most of the sparrows would have disappeared! |
