I found that in those colonies where the houses were surrounded by hedges and located in the outskirts of the township, the presence of Sparrows was maximum.
But surprisingly the number of sparrows has increased significantly in the past month. I usually saw a group of 2-3 sparrows and most were males. But now 7-8 sparrows have come around my house. I also found that the number of males is generally much greater then females in our area.
In my grandfather's house located in Gwalior, Sparrows have completely disappeared.
