Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | In childhood days, I had a great acquaintance with house sparrows as some of them were nesting in my home as well as in the building where we used to live at Hirakud, Sambalpur. I used to watch them for hours and enjoy their activities and noise. Due to childishness, sometimes I used to try to catch one of them to play with, but failed all the time. I like this small and sweet bird since then. As I grew up, one day heard about the degradation in sparrow population which I didn't believe. But, soon I get to know the fact. Today we should join hands to combat the worst scenario and work for the conservation of the species. |
