There used to be huge congregations of sparrow in our garden in the past more than 500 birds. The trees where they used to roast was favorite hunting grounds for migrating birds of prey. This was observed in 2001-05. Currently very few number of birds are observed roasting.
In the past from 2005 onwards till 2009-10 fair number of birds - 25 -50 used to come for foraging at the feeding places in the garden. Of later their numbers have fallen down to an occasional bird or two.
