There was a mango tree and a couple of other trees in the courtyard of my house. After each thunderstorm or hailstorm, we had to collect the dead House Sparrows in the basket and throw them out of the house. It was taking many days to finally clear the house. Mango tree is still there and has much grown. About 50-100 sparrows still come and feed on the grains from the cow dung, cow feeds and the domestic throwaways. On the top of the building next to our house, a mobile tower has been erected since last 4-5 years and still a few sparrows are here in my house. At present sometimes we encounter a baby sparrow which was earlier a common sight and we were always playing with them during our childhood.
