Last few years I am trying to spot sparrows beside taking pictures of them in different locations, specially in Delhi. In C.R. Park in South Delhi I found a good number of house sparrows specially at the backyards and service lanes. Even I saw them nesting. The bushes in around parks in C R Park and G.K.II I saw a good number of House Sparrows but rarely in adjoining areas … Kalkaji and Govidpuri. In Qutab Institutional area, which is adjacent to city forest ‘Sanjay Van, hardly you can find the sparrows though the place is less noisy. Pollution level is also low according to government report. But rarely you can site a pair of House sparrow. Number is little more in nearby IIT, Delhi and JNU campus.
