| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Generally sparrows are seen in the morning or at dawn in groups near the lawns. They are not observed near the residential area as before. I offer food leftover on the terrace , other birds come but no sparrow.Recently one of my neighbors observed a pair of sparrows in their balcony and they gave repeated visits for three/four days as if they're looking for a place for nesting. It is also to be noted that there is a significant increase in the population of other birds like parrots, pigeons, Indian moyna, peacock etc. It may be one of the reasons for changing attitude of sparrows near the residential area. |
