Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period?Sh. Mangal Singh ji Rawat, Rtd. CTI from North Western Railway, used to live here for 30 years of his service. I also shared few years in his tenure at this locality and observed that he used to feed sparrows regularly in evening times. Every day in the late afternoon more then 300 sparrows used to come for feeding, playing, dust bathing and also chirpping. Every month Sh. Rawat used to spread more then 5 kg Bajra seeds for them. And he used to call it as his sparrows. After his retirement from Railway, he shifted from that old railway house to new area on the outskirt of city. His sparrow are still visiting that site but not more then 20-40 every day.
