This area was full of sparows, lots of nest in almost every houses and trees inside the IIT Kanpur campus and in the neighbouring village NANKARI also i saw in Barasirohi village. The area had a large population from 1971 to 2000, the time I lived in the IIT Kanpur campus. I was avid watcher/viewer/admirer of these birds.
