When we started living in this house(2004), there were 2 families of sparrows who nested in our porch and verandah at the back. Gradually there number increased to 5. I had to put bird houses for a new couple a few weeks back. In the evening they take fights from one roof to another. And once when i thought about counting their number, when they were perching on a transmission line, i was surprised that it actually crossed 100.
