Our kitchen window used to be crowded with both male and female sparrows whole day. Their black and white shit used to everywhere on the window grill. We had given up cleaning it! They would try make a nest over the tube-light and we would shove them away fearing that the ceiling fan may hurt them. I think in year 2001, every building in our colony was granted some extension and thus some extra construction was carried out around each building. And then, the houses became bigger, but the sparrows were never to be seen.
