| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Sparrows have always come for the grains that neighbors strew on the road in front of our building. It's a pleasure to watch them, especially since their numbers seem to have declined over the years.
Just yesterday, two sparrows decided to pay us a visit home. Our balcony door is always open, and these two flew in and made themselves comfortable on the couch. Sitting at the dining table a few feet away, my son and I observed the sparrows as they chirped and searched the room - looking for a suitable place to build a nest perhaps.
They flew off to the sound of hurried footsteps, but i do wish they'd visit again, and stay a little longer next time. I'll have some refreshments waiting!! :) |
