Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period?hi i am a student of first year engineering from the sinhgad intitute of technology in lonavala. my inti is situated on the mountain and it is away from the main town also so it is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and nature. I was not too interested to know about the birds and not really wanted to but when i came to this campus and i lived here in the hostel one day i noticed something i should have noticed earlier. One day as usaual in lunch break i went to my mess and then while having my lunch i heard some chirping noise around me. I lokked up to see a beauitful sparrow sitting on the opposite of my table and collecting the remained rice bits from the table. When i was looking at it may be it also noticed me i am looking at him.He stopped his work and gave me a very strange look as if it is telling me"hey i am having my lunch too cant i have it peacefully...." I later reda some good books and articles about these birds and watched some documentary and really felt the need to help these creature survive and not get affected by the human race and pollution. Here in my locality there are many types of birds all thanks to the natural fauna and flora which has not been disturbed yet due to humans. It really feels great to see these birds around you it gives you a very pleasant environment.
