Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | I fondly remember watching the tiny sparrows tirelessly build their little cosy nests at the corners of the curtain rods at home. They fluttered about with tiny twigs and thin pieces of cotton in their beaks. I remember my family being very sparrow friendly and almost sparrow crazy! We had little coconut shells with water and rice grains strewn in the balcony for the birds. It was the loveliest sight to see the sparrows try to wash themselves in the water kept for them to drink! My family still nostalgically talks of the days when sparrows were a regular sight around homes and we still earnestly report to one another when we spot sparrows else where! :) |
