Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? We were sitting in the busy Food Court in the domestic Departure Hall at Bangalore Airport, munching away peacefully, when suddenly there was a blur of movement - it was a gang of marauding sparrows! They are obviously used to the challenges of this environment, scooting along the floor and pulling bits of food out from under the tables, darting between people in a queue to attack some crumbs on the counter, and perching on chair backs looking for their next target! Since the whole area was enclosed and air-conditioned, I wondered where these little creatures lived - or did they get out through some air vent? It was a fascinating experience to see them adapting to the setting, completely unconcerned about the humans in the vicinity.
