| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | There is a fair number of House Sparrows in SML P.G. College Campus where i work, as well as in the surrounding area that includes Parks and Residential Colonies.
There is continuous nesting of Sparrows in our college and they repeat the same place (ventilators, behind photo frames, shutter tops, godowns etc) for nesting with some new material for renovation.
I did not found them preferring trees or other plants much for nesting purpose.
many times i saw males fighting for making pair with the female. The females are observant of fight and they wait for the winner. But never seen juveniles. |
