| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | When i was young, in our locality we had lot of tiled houses. Almost every house there will be a nest. Some might have created/helped with cardboard boxes for the nest at a height. I distinctly remember, my neighbour use to feed them with grains and rice. On roof top it is always plesant to watch little birds in a group of 10 to 20 or even more. It is an inspiration then to watch their activities eg: collecting food, flying in and out frequently from their nest, their merry noise and so on. I used to wonder how much quantity of food this little bird need in a day. How do they protect their nest and nestlings? |
