We have an attached garden to our flat and many sparrows would flock during the evening in the small trees (Cesalpinia pulchermia). They were a nuisance sometimes as they tried to enter our flat. However, during the past few years, 2007 onwards a new building was constructed near our house (which is not seen in the google map) and a mobile tower was installed. There is a stark decline in the number of sparrows seen compared to what were seen before. However, now we do have many new sunbirds, fantails, bulbuls which not only visit us but also there is a lot of nesting activity.
