There were a large number of trees in this area, which is adjacent to the Peshwe Park (a large garden) and every evening at around 6.00pm to 8.00 pm a large flock of sparrows would occupy the tree and create a ruckus. That's where i first learnt a phrase in Marathi about birds - 'Chimnyanchi Shala' (i.e. a school of sparrows)
