A few months ago,at 10 am one fine day, I heard chirping on my window and was surprised to see a sparrow. Surprised because I realised I hadn't seen a sparrow for a really long time. 3-4 years earlier, sparrows were regular visitors. Slowly their numbers dwindled. I didn't miss them as I was busy with my life. A chance visit from my chirping friend that day reminded me of them and suddenly I started missing them! Hope they return soon!!!
