Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | We are the people blessed with the little angels living among us and herewith pleased to inform that our area is a home for more than 50 sparrows. All over our surroundings you can spot small sparrow population. Most of the sparrows are in the tamarind tree near our house and those sparrows makes a flight to the surrounding areas for feeding and playing. As we have pet birds in our balcony, which is fed with grains, the sparrows came to eat the spill over. Then we started putting a separate food tray for sparrows, so they regularly make a flight to and fro from the tamarind tree to our balcony. Slowly some of them started to stay with us in the holes provided for light fittings in the ceilings. One pair has nested in our loft inside the stuffed cartoon box. Another pair staying in our lobby ceiling, Early morning before dawn they wake up along with us when we switch on the lights, it will wait chirping in the window grill till dawn and then start their flight. They criss-cross our house from window to window above our heads, so we have not put any ceiling fan along their track . In the hot sunshine afternoons they all come and perch in our lemon tree, and in the evening they take sand bath in front of our house inside our compound. It is nice to live along and watch them while relaxing in our rooms. When we see the lively movement of the sparrows all sorrows will flee along with the sparrow. So we feel blessed to live along with them.
