I'm actively working on 'Save House Sparrow Project' since 2010. I've installed 8 Nest boxes at my home & in these two years Four successful breeding is recorded & Fifth nesting is continue at the moment :). Currently I've two House Sparrow Couple at home & One couple has successfully brought up their chicks for four times & Last breeding is successful just yesterday (16/4/2012).
Finally yesterday Sparrow Chicks have left the nest box to start their new life :o)) <3. Since yesterday I was searching them & today morning found them on nearby leafy tree. They are two in numbers & were feeding by their parents & hopping on branches with their tiny wings :))). They will soon be expert flyer xxx. Hope they will also return to build their nest at my home again :)).
I've distributed Nest boxes to other people in the city as well & they are having nesting in their boxes too :)). Will soon share new info.
