I feed the sparrows everyday. They used to come in a fair number (14/15) everyday, even a few months back. But during the past few months (November 2011 till date), the number has drastically declined to a few 5 or 6 birds. This rapid decline in the number is worrying enough. I had also provided them with nest boxes (2011). They had gathered twigs and had started building nests in two of the boxes, but suddenly left the boxes midway... Don't know why!
