Luckily in the year 2004 I saw sparrow nest in a hanging plant pot and was happy more to see a small egg in it. Often they used to come sit in it and fly. I used put grains whenever i remebered. But one bad day few children took that nest and kept it at their home i got to know from other child i went and got and kept it at the same place but the sparrows fly around but they did not sit in it even now i see around 2 sparrows usually flying around.
