Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | Sparrows were there till about the late 90's for sure in our apartment(ShantiPark). however, there were these monkey attacks durign summer, adn then suddenly, the pigeon population started to increase. Our apartment had not just sparrows, but parakeets too were often seen sitting on trees and chirping, along with crows and kites(both brahmini and indian). Ever since pigeon population started,sparrows disappeared, and other birds are not to be seen. We do see the occasional crow, but it gets driven away by pigeons. |
