| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | I live in an apartment at Srinagar Colony in Hyderabad. A bunch of sparrows have built a nest, nestled amidst the water pipes in the kitchen balcony. They come there in the morning and create a musical ruckus, calling out to one another constantly, for an hour or so. After which I do not hear anything till the next morning. I have a couple of pots on the ledge and they tend to eat all the tender leaves. Previously they would fly off, even if I entered the kitchen but now they hang around till the reach the balcony and then flutter away.
There is water for them and soon I will start keeping some jowar seeds which we feed the pigeons with, so that they will stop eating the tender leaves off the pots. |
