I started using bird feeders (10) I use 30 kg pearl millet/month for sparrows.
In 6 years the number of House Sparrows have increased from a few pairs (40 pairs)to over 500 birds. I use nest boxes also. It works out very well. I have distributed so far some 1000 bird feeders to Schools, local people and tourist that visit CEDO (my initiative in Kutch)
