Sheikh Sarai 2 K Pocket New Delhi Delhi
5 Years back Sheikh Sarai was alive with the chirping of sparrow. For the last 2 years I have rarely seen any sparrows. Whenever my children and I spot a sparrow we have a minor celebration. Sheikh Sarai has a number of pigeons and crows. surprisingly this area now has a tree pie couple and quite a few green bee catchers. But although these have increased, the number of sparrows has almost disappeared. I have recently shifted to Noida. And I am very glad to say that there is a visible population of house sparrow here.
