The location I'm reporting is around 20km from the Bangalore city, still rich in bio diversity wiht many species of birds nesting. 20 years back this area was a barren land, but now devloped into a lush green surroundings. The campus is surrounded by a village and many house sparrows were visible earler. It is shocking to notice that even such a location has lost sparrow population.
