We lived in a small government quarter. These were old houses with old bulky ceiling fans. Every year, during summer we used to have sparrows build nests inside our house, in the cup on top of the old fans. With the heavy fans running at full speed in the Delhi summer heat, they still managed (mostly) to lay eggs and raise little ones above the fan!
