Im talking about house sparrows which I see wheneever I tavel from Bengaluru international airport at the Kingfisher lunge. It could be anywherelese also but I visist the Lounge and find the birds there. what is unusual is they are seen throughout the day, be it noon. moninr or late night.
Also a friend of mine in Bengaluru has a small tree which is completely taken over by sparrows and she feeds them too on a regular basis. she was featured in the local english newspaper for the presence of so many sparrows in one small bush.
I live inAbu Dhabi and visitors sometimes find these birds here and there and they joke that they would like to take some back to India, particularly Bangalore, as they have become extinct there |
