| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | In those days as a child we used to spend our childhood times by gazing and feeding sparrows. Normally sparrows were very close to humans on those days. They start chirping and playing on the street poles, electric lines and sometimes in our verandah too. on those days most of the pitched roof houses had a sparrow nest. But when the concrete was used to replace the pitched roof, most of the nests atarted to vanish. So each and every citizen should initiate to provide a nestbox in his locality which may help a small group sparrows to get into.... |
