| Q11. Would you like to share a story about House Sparrows from this time period? | There are 2 pairs of sparrows which nest in my house. I have observed them nesting in the same place for last two - three years.
One pair has chosen an opening in my kitchen wall;where the exhaust fan should have been installed. Over the months and years this pair has made a nice, dense lair for their brood. I have had to fight with my maids, and later with the painters who wanted to clean out the " dirty mess" :-)
We have a small but densely planted garden abounding in flowers and insects, plus a reasonably careless and messy house environs; so I think the birds don't lack in any provisions!Yes I can hear them chirping in approval. |
