Chitrakote vill and waterfall area was visited on 30 Jan 2011.
Water fall is very large about one Km from the residential area.Here few isolated tourist cottages have been constructed.
Only 2 sparrows were seen around a cottage , but in vill area 10/12 birds could be seen , possibly because of noon hours.
However it has come to notice that locals kill and eat sparrows on sizeable scale with the misconception that their flesh has aphrodisiac properties.
This particular matter was highlighted in my ZEE TV interview held earlier.
