Arun M K Bharos - Basna Town of Mahasamund distt Basna Chhattisgarh

Basna is being visted since last 30 yrs and every time sparrows were recorded.

During visit on 21 March 2009 small flocks of 5/6 birds recorded.

In my opinion the population has fallen to the extent of 30 %
